Welcome to the first edition of "the bac page." My name is Brian Alexander Cingel, hence the name "bac" as in "the bac page".

As a good cup of coffee provides us with a boost of energy, it is my goal that a quick read of "the bac page" will stimulate an idea, provide fresh perspective on a topic or idea, educate and be a source of intelligence - ala "brain food."

I (BAC) serve as a Director of Business Development for a company named SS&C. SS&C, est. in 1986, stands for: Software, Securities Services, and Consulting. We are listed on the NASDAQ: SSNC

The WHAT: Generally speaking, SS&C offers technology, outsourcing services, and consulting that help our clients in 3 critical phases of business:

The WHERE: The SS&C platform of software solutions and outsourcing services cater to the various functional/operational areas of investment management.

The WHO: We solve problems and provide solutions across the investment management verticals; from the start-up hedge fund to the global multi-billion dollar asset manager and everything in between, including: private equity funds, CTAs, Endowments & Foundations, Family Offices, RIAs, and Pensions.
